Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry provides free, high quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people experiencing life difficulties such as serious illness, divorce, job loss, losses due to aging, loneliness, grief, or other life challenges.  Stephen Ministers participate in an extensive training program.  They meet with a person on a weekly basis to confidentially listen, care, encourage and provide emotional and spiritual support.  The ministers also meet among themselves twice a month for peer support and Continuing Education.

St. Mary's has been enrolled as a Stephen Ministry parish since 2010 and has helped over 285 people.
