Must be 16 years old or older
One Godparent MUST be a baptized and confirmed Catholic. A certificate/letter stating completion of the sacrament of Confirmation is required.
Non-Christians cannot serve as Godparents since they are not baptized.
Only 2 Godparents will appear on the baptismal certificate.

Baptism Prep Class

Both parents are required to attend one baptism preparation session. If you have already attended a session at St. Mary’s or any other church, you do not need to attend again. Please note that godparents are invited, but not required to attend.

COMPLETED baptism intake form
COPY of the birth certificate of the child to be baptized
OFFICIAL certificate/letter of completion of the sacrament of Confirmation for at least one Godparent
OFFICIAL certificate/letter of completion of the sacrament of Baptism for at least one Parent

Donation

There is a suggested donation of $100 for baptisms. This donation can be given to the friar at the baptismal prep class, at the baptismal ceremony, or online.
