Facility Information

Flowers, Candles, and Decorations 

You may have as little or as much floral decorations as you choose; please coordinate with our wedding planner, Kathleen.

• The florist may come in one hour before your wedding

• Securing decorations to the pews
  • string and rubberbands permitted
  • tape not permitted - leaves marks

• Pew decorations will be removed after the ceremony

• If you are taking any decorations with you, please make arrangements

• Pew candles are available to rent for an additional fee of $100

• Flower girls are only permitted to throw silk flower petals

• Runners are not permitted to ensure safety to all our guests

Please note: decorations, banners, and flowers in the church for the liturgical seasons may not be moved. Our wedding coordinator will work with you and your florist to ensure continuity and elegance.

Ceremonial Exit

Please speak to our wedding coordinator to see what has worked best in the past. Typically, brides and grooms leave the church through a celebration of bubbles.

Photographs and Video

Please have your photographer/videographer speak to our wedding coordinator prior to the start of the ceremony. It is not necessary for your them to speak with the priest/deacon. No one is permitted in the sanctuary during the ceremony, but our wedding coordinator will guide them to ensure your wedding is captured perfectly while respecting the sanctity of the sacrament. 

Parking

We have ample parking in the parking lot behind the church. The front of the church is reserved for the bridal vehicle. We request all guests be considerate of the homes across from the church. Anyone blocking a driveway will be ticketed by the Pompton Lakes Police Department.

Alcohol and Drug Policy

Any alcohol and illegal substance is forbidden on church property. The wedding party and wedding guests are asked not to come to the rehearsal or wedding in any form of intoxication. The pastor or presiding priest or deacon has the right to refuse entry to the church to ANY person he deems intoxicated (including the wedding party).

The pastor or the presiding priest or deacon has the authority to stop the ceremony.
